Vikalp Samajik Sanstha (VSS).

Vikalp Samajik Sanstha (VSS) is a grassroots, non-profit charitable organization committed to inclusive community development. Conceptualized in May 2005 and registered under the Societies Registration Act, VSS is actively working across selected regions of Madhya Pradesh to bring meaningful change in the lives of marginalized communities
At its core, VSS envisions a self-reliant society where every individual enjoys their rightful entitlements—from health and education to livelihoods and dignity
Over the years, Vikalp has undertaken impactful and quality-driven interventions to address critical gaps in the areas of health, education, women's empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods. Guided by its mission and fueled by community participation, Vikalp continues to build pathways for equity, resilience, and social transformation.

Vision :

A just and inclusive society where every woman and youth, especially from rural and tribal communities, has the opportunity, resources, and agency to realize their full potential through education, skills, and sustainable livelihoods.

Mission :

To enable youth and women from underserved regions to pursue their aspirations through education, skills, and enterprise, building pathways to self-sufficiency and social transformation.

Core Objectives :

  • Facilitate access to quality education and life skills for youth and women in underserved regions.
  • Enable livelihood opportunities through vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages.
  • Promote women’s leadership and agency through community mobilization, mentorship, and collective platforms.
  • Bridge the digital and opportunity divide for tribal and rural youth through innovation and partnerships.
  • Create sustainable, community-led models of social and economic empowerment.

Target Groups:

  • Rural and tribal youth (15–30 years)
  • Women in low-income and marginalized communities
  • School dropouts, early-married girls, and aspirational first-generation learners
