Vikalp Samajik Sanstha (VSS) works with underprivileged and marginalized communities, guided by an inclusive policy to serve all sections of society—without any discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion.
The organization follows a rights-based approach to development, focusing on the following core areas :

Microfinance Initiatives cooperative

VIKALP operates a dedicated Microfinance Unit, currently functioning as an independent vertical. Once it reaches maturity, it will transition into a self-sustaining entity operating through its net-owned funds and registered under the appropriate legal framework for financial institutions.

Vikalp Jansanchar Manch

This is a creative communication wing managed by a team of professionals. The Jansanchar Manch undertakes IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) assignments and mass awareness campaigns on social issues, in collaboration with both private and public sector partners. Its goal is to educate, engage, and empower communities through culturally relevant and impactful communication.

  • Empowerment of Women & Children Launching programs that promote the rights, wellbeing, and holistic development of women and children through education, protection, and community engagement.
  • Livelihood & Enterprise Development Promoting skill development and micro-enterprise creation among women and youth to foster self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods, with a focus on poverty reduction.
  • Social Wellbeing & Environmental Action Working in the fields of education, public health, culture, hygiene, and environmental conservation to create healthier, informed, and sustainable communities.
